Sixshooter Bed & Breakfast offers a unique lodging experience in the Sixshooter area of Lake Tenkiller, Oklahoma. Lake Tenkiller is Oklahoma's clear water lake, with12,500 acres of water and 130 miles of scenic shoreline with rocky banks and rock bluffs both above and below the water. Fishing is great on Lake Tenkiller. The lake is stocked with white bass, black bass, striped bass, crappie, catfish, bream and walleye. Sixshooter Bed & Breakfast is about a block from Sixshooter Marina, where boat rentals and bait are available, as well as a gift shop and restaurant with great pizza. This is a view from our front deck.
We have a great view of the lake from the house. Beautiful Lake Tenkiller gleams like a diamond in the sun. We have beautiful sunsets here.

The Cookson Hills, where Sixshooter is located, has a colorful history. It was once the haunts of Pretty Boy Floyd and Bonnie and Clyde. And Tahlequah, the new home (as of 1839) of the Cherokee Indians, is just 16 miles north of Cookson. The Cherokees were originally from Georgia.
